Sachie Mitsui P. Turiano-Academia is a Filipino entrepreneur, economist, educator, program designer, and professional speaker whose work spans business strategy, financial markets, workforce development, innovation, and purpose-driven leadership. A Magna Cum Laude Economics graduate of Bicol University, she started her career in capital markets and investor relations at the Philippine Stock Exchange before moving into global-markets research, client education, and marketing at MetisEtrade and Alpari Philippines.
She is Founder, President & CEO of Fortem Auctrix, Inc., which she grew from a 20-seat freelance operation into a multi-service BPO generating over 300 jobs and named among Outsource Accelerator's Top 40 BPO Companies in the Philippines in 2022. She is also Founder & Chief Educator of Global Markets Eruditio (GME), where she has run more than 700 educational events and built an online community of over 27,000 followers focused on accessible economics, financial literacy, and disciplined risk management. Her commentary on markets and the economy has appeared on Bloomberg TV Philippines, ABS-CBN News Channel, and BusinessWorld Live.
Sachie is an active startup mentor, pitch-clinic mentor, judge, and evaluator across Bicol's innovation ecosystem, including the Heroes of Innovation Challenge, RAISE Bicol initiatives, and the Philippine Startup Challenge X Bicol Regional Pitching Competition, where she chaired the Board of Judges in 2025. Her mentorship in the 2025 Filipinnovation Awards helped four Luzon National Finalists reach the national stage, with two — Palatak Palay Seeder and Pili Seal — finishing among the Top 5 of 15 nationwide. Beyond business and education, she is a published author, songwriter, and performer.
